For the first time in many months, I got to wake up without that 'instant rush of stress' that accompanies work mornings and most of my weekends. I was surfing between wakefulness and that state in which you seem to be lucid and aware and asleep all at the same time...dreams come and go. I was having this amazing experience like a good breathing meditation...I'd become aware of the motion and movement of all things, that 'timeless turning'... and then I heard it.

It sounded like several short explosions of forced air. That jet of air sound. Fartlike.

It wasn't Rory...she was sleeping in a ball behind the crooks of my knees.

Again I heard it as I was drifting back toward that beach I was dreaming about...again, I was yanked back to waking.

It sounded like it came from over the house!

I stumbled out of bed, grabbed the camera and ran outdoors. I was fumbling to turn on the camera when I heard the noise again out over the swamp and saw a large object floating behind the trees, slowly and toward me. It was a a dark shadow between me and the morning sun...and then it came into view...

Somehow, someway, the buzzrats have to be behind this...Curses, Buzzrats !!! Curses !!!

When I was a boy, I once wished on a falling star. But before I could decide upon a wish, that streaking light stopped dead in it's tracks...and sat still like Venus, just above the treetops. I felt that it was waiting for me.

July 4th, approximately 8:20pm EST...photographed these objects quickly moving in a V-shaped formation to the north above Clarklake, MI.

These were not birds. I can say this with the utmost of certainty...nor were they aircraft as there was no sound of aircraft (or squawking of geese) during their flyover. The Blue Angels were in Michigan at this time, temporarily based out of Willow Run Airport. They performed a flyover at the 7pm EST at Comerica Park where the Tigers were hosting the Cleveland Indians. These were not the Blue Angels...well, they weren't F-18 Hornets at least. I made certain that no birds were flying in the vacinity before I pushed the shutter for a burst of five photos in less than five seconds. The objects did not show up in any other image...just as in the last batch of photos which showed the cylinder hanging in the distance.

I should note at this point that these photos are being taken in an area which seems to be a main thoroughfare for large commercial and cargo jets out of Chicago with eastern destinations, including Detroit Metropolitan Airport (within fifty miles), Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti (approx. 30 miles eastward) as well as, perhaps, destinations in Ontario and the east coast. The comparison between the cylinder and the jet aircraft in the previous unusual photo was taken in the same location of the sky within a minute or so of one another. This alone should be a concern for pilots, passengers, those interested governing bodies.

When the UFO phenomenon is discussed in the media or on talk shows and other conspiracy-related outlets, the safety aspect is often ignored. It is a hot topic amongst pilots, especially in Mexico where the first truly huge wave of UFO sightings after the advent of affordable handheld video occurred. This has resulted in a unique documentation, through video and photography, of the near misses between large jet aircraft and strange silverish spheres, no more than 5 or 6 meters wide. There have also been apparent collisions over Mexico City's airport.

Some of you who know me have basically told me that I'm making alot out of nothing. I disagree. I am capturing some anomolous objects on the digital camera which are sandwiched between military helicopter flyovers and other strange occurances and are occurring in an area of heavy air traffic. Something out of the ordinary is occurring in my little corner of the world.
